Vietnam National Tourism Year 2021 with the theme “Hoa Lu – A thousand years old capital” is a series of important economic – cultural – social events of the Vietnam tourism industry, of international scale. Ninh Binh was selected by the Government of Vietnam as the host of this event in 2020, but due to the Covid-19 epidemic, this event was delayed to 2021.
Through activities in the Vietnam National Tourism Year 2021, the value, beauty, and potentiality of tourism development in Ninh Binh in particular and Vietnam tourism, in general, will be introduced and advertised to domestic people and international friends.
Famous tourist destinations in Ninh Binh:
National Tourism Year 2021 has 27 activities chaired by Ninh Binh province; 11 activities organized by agencies of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in Ninh Binh, and 79 responsive events organized by 24 other provinces and cities.
Trang An World Natural and Cultural Heritage will still be selected as the site of the Trang An Festival, a major highlight in the chain of events, along with the Bai Dinh Pagoda Festival, Tam Coc – Trang An Golden Tourism Week. Taking Ninh Binh as the center, the National Tourism Year 2021 spreads over the country with many activities, groups, and events on tourism.

Due to the impact of the Covid-19 epidemic in Vietnam, many events have been postponed compared to the original plan. The National Tourism Year 2021 is expected to revive Vietnam’s tourism industry in general and Ninh Binh tourism in particular.
