Hung Temple historical relic area in Viet Tri City, Phu Tho province was built during the reign of King Dinh Tien Hoang. It is famous for the Hung Temple Festival held from the 8th to 11th of the third lunar month. This is not only a normal festival but also one of the most important festivals in Vietnam every year. On March 10 of the lunar calendar every year, there will be a lot of activities at Hung Temple with the participation of people throughout the country to pay their respects to the ancient kings. This unique culture has become an indispensable part of the spiritual life of the Vietnamese people. The Hung Temple Festival consists of two parts, which are rituals and entertainment activities.
